Terms of use
The terms that apply when you use Icesheet, the limits of what an ice allocation aid can be relied on for, and what stays free for every association.
What this is
Icesheet is a planning aid that turns the ice slots, teams and rules you type into a proposed practice ice allocation, and prints documents from it. The association decides the policy, Icesheet applies it. It does not know your teams, players or arenas, so it does not decide who deserves which ice and gives no view on any team or person. A team it reports as short of its target is short only under the rules you gave it. Check the allocation and every printout before they are shared with coaches, families or an arena.
Rules and settings
Hours targets, earliest and latest times, late slot caps, ice sizes and sharing rules are your association's settings. Icesheet applies them as entered and makes no safety, development, legal or compliance claim about any setting or any allocation. It does not book, confirm or pay for ice with any arena.
Names used
Software, associations, municipalities and organisations are named in the guides only to describe them, with the date their public pages were read. Icesheet is not affiliated with any hockey association, governing body, league, arena, municipality or ice scheduling software company.
What is free
Ice allocation for a season of up to 12 teams and 60 ice slots is free to use with no account and stays that way, as do the calendar and team review with every rule flag, team schedule sheets, the unused ice list, and JSON backup and restore. When billing is enabled, a paid tier adds larger associations, seasons and drafts, the fairness report, arena sheets, calendar files and CSV on top of that. Nothing free is moved behind a gate to make room for it.
Your data
Anything the site remembers is stored by your own browser on your own device. You can clear it at any time, we cannot recover it, and it does not follow you to another device. Save a backup file regularly while you plan the season.
Refunds
Not happy with a purchase? Email socialreminderinfo@gmail.com within 14 days of a first purchase, or within 7 days of a renewal, and we will refund it. Send the message from the email address you used at checkout, and include:
- the email address used at checkout (if you are writing from a different address)
- your access code, shown on the Premium page while you have Premium on the browser you purchased from
- roughly when you purchased, and which plan (yearly or lifetime)
- the last 4 digits of the card, if you have the receipt handy
That is everything needed to find the purchase and process the refund. This policy does not limit any statutory rights you may have.
Acceptable use
Use the site to plan ice. Do not scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people, and do not enter more about a team, a player or a volunteer than you need to share the ice.
Warranty and liability
The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, Icesheet is not liable for any loss arising from its use or from reliance on allocations it proposes. Check every sheet before you share it.

Questions, and reports of an allocation that breaks a hard rule it should have kept, go to socialreminderinfo@gmail.com. A hard rule broken by the allocator without a named reason is a defect and gets fixed.
